We are designed to cry. So many people apologize to me when they weep. Tears are natural and normal. So many say, "I am afraid to cry because if I start, I fear that I will not be able to stop." When tested, tears of joy and tears of sadness show different chemical makeup as toxins are released. Women in Jesus' time wore tear bottles. They would collect tears. Some even say that Mary washed Jesus' feet with tears from her tear bottle. The shortest verse in the bible is found in John 11:35 in reference to his emotions regarding Lazarus."Jesus wept." Shedding a tear is good for the soul.
