I SIT ALONE a poem

Writer: Fr. NigelFr. Nigel

I sit alone

~Nigel Mumford+

I sit alone

But not alone

Watching the morning sun.

It streams in and reflects on the mirror

Right back into the room.

A double shard of light

Fills the room with a yellow glow

It fills me with peace

To let me know

I’m not alone

The Lord is with me

A knowing Peace fills the air

My soul is set free

A cup of tea in hand

Two boiled eggs consumed

My prayer time deepened

My God time resumed

I am not alone you see

I’m so content within

The sun of righteousness

Fills my soul, my stress taken.

A light numbness...

Healing Grace and Peace be with you, Fr. Nigel+
